Happy Feet Review

my three year old loves this game. she has other games geared toward kids of her age, and she loves those as well, but this game makes her feel like she is plaing a “big kid game”. truthfully she doesn’t really win at a whole lot of the mini games, but she loves playing it anyway, and she loves the penguins. the controls are very easy for her to figure out, with minor supervision, and the graphics are really quite good in this game. bigger kids love this game too, and i don’t even mind playing it sometimes some of the mini games are quite fun, like swimming through the ocean under the ice (the graphics in that game are quite pretty), and sliding on your tummy etc..for a game based on a movie, this was a good one, and we are glad we bought it.

Toy Story 3 The Video Game Review

Overall the kids liked this game a lot – we sent it to day camp today for a larger sampling of different ages. K through 8th grade got to play it. After a couple of hours everyone was pretty bored, but they all agreed that it was very fun and they would play it again tomorrow. The instructor said that it would become a standard. And all games are only played for a bit before they change them up to keep it fresh.br /br /My two kids – ages 6 and 5 gave me wildly mixed reviews. My son – 6 – was the character BUZZ and he LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the game and would have played all day if allowed.br /br /My daughter, five years old, was various characters – including Woody. She thought it was way too hard and didn’t enjoy it much at all. br /br /Both kids were using the WII interface.br /br /What I liked about it was the documentation that came with it. Very robust, graphic and colorful. It showed and explained each button on the WII controller and what the function was.br /br /I think this game most likely has a limited audience of 6-10 year olds and might be preferred a bit more by boys.br /br /I will buy the school their own copy so they have something to “keep it fresh” in their game rotation.
