Wii Fit Starter Kit (Yoga Mat + Silicon Sleeve For Balance Board) Review
I just picked this up at Gamestop yesterday, and I’m impressed. The mat is a nice quality yoga mat, with the right amount of give to make the exercises a little easier on the joints. The sleeve went on with no problems, and if you install it correctly, pushing the little nobs into the holes on the bottom, it stays in place perfectly. I like that it provides a little bit of grip, as well as making it the slightest bit softer, with the added bonus of keeping the board clean. I found this kit to be perfect for what I needed — I didn’t want the whole package with travel cases and weights and the like. This kit provided exactly what I wanted, and works as advertised.

Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board Review
With the approach of winter and cold/damp weather I was looking for something to keep me active (I’m a runner) and the Wii Fit Plus didn’t disappoint. It’s got a great variety of games and yoga/strength training exercises. And the fact that it tracks your weight and how many Calories you’ve burned helps you realize how much you need to work to burn off that ice cream sundae you couldn’t avoid. (Which is precisely why I work out–to eat the foods I love and not feel guilty about it–the good feeling and increased health/immunity to disease are just side benefits.)br /br /I should note that you’ve got to work at it to break a sweat–it’s not designed to be a strenuous workout. However, I think the developers at Nintendo did a good job considering the demographic they’d have to cover (5-95 year olds). And its a neat way to check out Yoga without having to leave the house. I’m sure doing it in a class would be more interesting, but this way you can practice a bit before going. br /br /The key to this product, like all exercises, is that you’ve got to use it for it to be of any benefit. I highly recommend this product to everyone–you will only benefit from it.

The product took a while to arrive,3 weeks, I guess since it looks like it came from china. It has a good weight and was easy to put on. It wasn’t tight but stayed on during play. One of the reasons I purchased it was so the balance board would not get so dirty and it does the job. I don’t know about the massage effect since the nubbies aren’t that big. But it does keep the board in place and your foot too. Also the price was good too.br /
